feed call

my father started me duck calling at a very young age he always taught me to do a fast feed call you know tika tika tika. but when listining to ducks its actually a lot slower and the only time ive herd them do a fast call is when there flying but anyway my question is whats better in the field a fast feed call or a slow feed call or a combination of both

I always use the slower feed call....try to sound like ducks on the water feeding. Works pretty well!!!!

Definitely the slower single cut feed, mixed in with some drag quacks, and if need be just make the single cut feed faster without rolling it over. Pretty natural sounding and good filler sounds if hunting with others.
