Got into the field a little late today, when we showed up there was already 400 geese feeding and strings comin in. By the time we scared those off and got set up I figured we were too late. Ended up being a good morning, we ended up with sixteen.

NICE PILE! Way to wack em. I see that little choc in the picture. Did you get it out also?

I tried telling some guys yesterday that they better get out there earlier then the saw them fly yesterday. A 25 degree increase in temperature is bound to mess the "scout" up.

They called, they set decoys after scaring the geese out of the field, and then saw the rest fly out at their arses while they were trying to hike stuff into the muddy field. Never fired a shot, and never got a bird to work. Have no idea how this afternoon hunt turned out. They are still out there.

The weather defintently changed what time they flew, we thought we would be plenty early, guess we were wrong. Oh yeah and about the tailgate pic, i forgot all about it. I really hate to see the season end, oh well i guess we can start chasing the snows.

Yeah...lol....i got a call tonight to go out for snows tomorrow but i cant call out of work, havent called out in almost 3 years, and dont intend to start now, but i would love to go out and shoot some white, the guy told me they went out last tuesday and shot 78 between 8 guns....but we just dont have the birds here like we did in the early season..........well im debating on calling out.....lol.....the more i think about it the more im like yeah, i need to shoot something lol..............but i dunno if it would be worth losing a days pay....
