Trial Braids...need opinions

Found some shoelaces laying around my room, and figured i would try some braids with them.....gonna order some para cord as soon as the site where im going to get them from opens up again, they said they would be out of the office till the 26th, so im working with what i got to see if i got the knack, and i think i pretty much got the basics down, just wanted you guys to take a look at these and tell me whatcha think.....its not a whole lanyard just sections of braid...the dont make shoelaces in 20ft lengths otherwise i would have made a whole lanyard lol

started off with this, Spiral Braid, and figured out the nuse

then i added a Flat Braid or Cobra Braid to it...

This is a Little one i made, you can call it the wrist lanyard, you can take the call drops at the bottom, and put them through the loop at the top then just put the call back on the drops and boom, wrist lanyard lol...

Not a fan of the spiral braid, but the others kick ass!

Just found an old Junk Cabelas Lanyard is a basic braid like girls do their hair, im gonna rip this thing apart and make something sweet....lol.....ill post pics later.....

Jerry- yeah the spiral i used to do back in highschool, to make hemp bracelets and necklaces, well actually both braids the Cobra i did too with the thicker hemp, man if i would have put 2 & 2 together sooner, lol....

The Spiral is the same knot used to make the Cobra, its just repeated with the same side instead of switching sides....its easy to do, but its harder to make come out perfect with shoe string......because of the stretch factor....but i appriciate the Possitve FEEDBACK, because thats why i was looking for to see if anyone would be interested in something thats just a little different than whats out there now......



im not trying to step on toes, or say something thats not 100% yet, but if i make full lanyards to sell........the would no doubt be under the MDL name.....thats if i get good enough that Jason will let me take some on, its just a dream right now, but one day it might be a reality.....thats why im sitting here practicing, just like with the calls everything takes time to perfect....!!!!!

GETZ- Its a Loyalty Thing........I would Rather help a company owned and run by Great People, and back a quality product than try it on my own, and step on peoples toes........
