geese everywhere

To bad season is over b/c there are geese all over in Kansas. Went out this weekend. Saturday shot a 4 man limit of honkers and 4 specks. Sunday our hunting group split up and hunted 2 different fields. The other group shot a 6 man limit of honkers with 3 specks and my group shot a 4 man limit of honkers and 1 snow. Hopefully will get pics soon. Between the two fields that we hunted their were probably between 75,000 to 100,000 geese.

Aren't you glad we gave up those days in September to have them now? KDWP really did us a service this year. I hope Hayden lets us keep it the same next year!

I almost wish they would start the season even later, there are alot of birds here right now.

It sucks when your driving home from the last day of hunting and all you see in the sky is geese. and they are all cupped to the ones on the ground right next to your field.

At first I was upset that we couldn't shoot em in September, but it really paid off for us. To bad they dont extend the season another week. Sunday we saw geese flying all day long, I think there a lot of groups migrating back north and just hanging out in Kansas with all the other thousands upon thousands of geese around here. Also saw probably around 5000 to 10000 ducks landing in one of the corn circles we hunt.
