Market Hunter or Showtime to Snow Call?

Since I've figured out how to tune calls I've been playing around with the soundboards and reeds. After looking at the guts on a snow call I have I was thinking you could move the soundboard and the reed down and ou'd have a snow call. I did it and it worked half way decent. What are the down falls to this? Maybe the guts get worn in one way but then when I want a honker call it distorts the sound? What are your thoughts?

I did the same this but only with the poly zink call i have, lol, ive found that the bell ended calls like zinks or the bored out calls like the showtime or the SMH comp insert, are similar to the TS, i played around with it a little, but i found that they are loud really loud, but a buddy of mine tuned one of his MHs to sound like a goose and it was close, the only thing i couldnt get right on mine was the feeding growl...just didnt sound anything close to the TS soundfiles...
