If money is not an issue I would go with the Dead Meat Mallard double reed. Easy to blow. it can get loud and soft. I got one and love it!

I think the DMM would fit your needs best. I got to try them for the first time this past weekend at the NWTF show and they were very impressive. Lots of range and easy to run from top to bottom.

Well for your situation i would recommend the DR TR. Great call and gets really raspy and quiet loud when needed. You can get so low and so ducky it rediculous.

either the dead meat or the timber rattler would be a nice call. but if u dont ahve the funds the legend makes a good call as well. i got an all pollycarbonate legend but ive heard the wood/polys and they are awesome.

i got mine at Scheels here in Mn but thats not a real help to you. Maybe if you check Cabelas website...if they have one you should be able to get one shipped to you. Otherwise im not sure of anywhere else. Just keep looking online for things. did the shop say if they were making any?

I've tried Cabelas, Macks, ect...that I can think of online and can't find the one I want. I want either birdseye maple or bois d' arc. Shop doesn't know when they'll get any.

You could always look at the store on the website!!

Obviously. But if they don't have one at the shop do you think I can really order one from the online store??

Not if they don't get anymore. From the person I talked to at the shop it didn't sound like anytime soon. They might not make them anymore for awhile or at all since they are working on another non acrylic call.
