What Weather? It was into the 2nd week of Jan and the geese were still pulling grass in the golf courses!

There is always Next Season!

Second Brett's comment. We didn't get the weather needed to kill birds until a week after season. The geese would go out 15-30 min after shooting light to eat. Pretty much sucked.

Yep, what my men Brett and Derek said. I figure the mild weather during the late goose screwed us (me, al, and derek) out of at least 5 or 6 3-man limits. But who knows, cause it coulda been even more than that if we had some hot fields. But all I can tell you is that a particular piece of water that we were going to hunt is now plum full of birds and was only a week after the season closed. It's a good crow hunting spot also.

We had about a week of good weather and that was it. Other wise Id have to agree with all the rest of you on the birds sitting on the sod farms or the golf coarses pulling on the green stuff. Barry Ive seen big numbers of honkers also. Wish Season was still open.

We just had our late season weather and it came later than the season lasted. Oh well better luck this year. Can't wait for the fresh crop Sept. 1.
