Hey guys I was wandering what kind of spreads you guys use in your area when hunting over water. Me and my buddies have about 8 dozen pontoons we usely use, but me and a buddie just bought 10 dozen new floaters we got 5 dozen ghg oversize series and 5 dozen bigfoot floater.

Thanks

we use those carrylite super magnum honker deeks with styrofoam ziptied to the bottom for calm days on the big water. otherwise we use bigfoot floaters when we are hunting both ducks and geese

We use 2dz bigfoots and 2 or 3dz of the pontoons. Love the pontoons you can really cover some ground

We've got about a dozen GHG floaters and believe it or not the most we usually use is 1/2 dozen

I agree. Have had better luck with less decoys on water than more.

Sometimes i go with a spread of 1-2 dozen bigfoots, but other times we need a larger spread and we use like 5-6 dozen bigfoot and GHG. I prefer the bigfoots because of there durability.

i think we have a doz bigfeet and 3 doz flambu and use the bigfeet when duck hunting but if we hunt a pond or a creek that they get on we use those suck but floaters b/c they are easy to carry. but i like it when the water is low and you can get the bank coverd in silos or full bodies

I put 8 of the ghg floaters out and a few on the shore if there is place for them on the bank.....Just the 8 of them in the water is enough to work.........and if we pu them on the shore we usually put them 50-60 yards from us so it looks like groups of geese to give them the appeal that that is more than 1 flock or group.
