Just wondering what components make up a routine. I have been listening to many online and can't quite get the general order. It seems it goes attention("it-ahh") then greeting("it-it-it-it") then comeback(???) then a greeting and then a feeding growl(grr, grr,it,grrr, grrr). Is that it? Or am I missing something? Also are there any sounds comp requires and how come I don't hear any moans?

For a comp routine picture the following in your head:

The geese are WAY out there, so you are hitting them with a hail call. Now that you have their attention you want to keep it and pull them to you. You start with some intermediate greeting work and build up to some excited / fast stuff. The geese have cupped and are committing to the spread....break down into some laydown work. The geese slide off and you hit them with a comeback. You get the geese turned back around and hit them with some more excited / fast stuff. Then you go to your laydown work again....and FINISH the birds.

In a nutshell:

Hail the geese from way off
Work the birds to you getting more excited as they closer
The birds cup and committ and you go to laydown work
The birds flare or slide off and you hit them with a comeback
Now you work the birds back around with your fast / excited stuff
Finish the birds with some laydown work

TRANSITIONS ARE KEY!!!! Make sure the routine flows.

I am sure someone can probably say it better than I did...but you get the idea.
