View Full Version : Racing for lives. Hunt in Minnesota
Guy I was talking to Kelly and wanted to do something for the kids so here it goes. I'm offering a hunt here in NW Minnesota for our early goose hunt or for our Reg duck and goose season to the highest Bidder all the proceeds will go to Kelly for Racing for lives. You will get in this hunt a free place to stay with me and all your meals, and I will drive when we scout and to and from the field and will supply all decoys, blinds etc, etc. So all you will need is a nonres license if out of state which runs I believe 75 dollars and all you have to bring with is shells and shotgun I will supply the rest. The starting date will start today March 4th and end Sun Mar 11th at 7:00 pm. If you guys have and question PM me not kelly becasue I will answer all your questions about the hunt here. And if you have any question about Raceing for lives or where to send the donations etc,etc contact Kelly. Remember this for the kids if there's anthing you want to know feel free to pm me about the hunt.
Thanks Todd Wilebski

Honk,
How many guns? I don't think a guy from outta state would travel by himself to our state.
MNbenellithunder. Good point I will allow 3 or 4 guys to come thats it. My wife is one hell of a cook and we have extra bedrooms to stay in. This goes for Minnesota guys also I will allow 3 to 4 guys to come up we had and excellent early goose hunt which we can shoot 5 birds each 10 in possesion. And we had during our reg season on of the best duck and goose shoots I have had in many years. Thanks Todd

Honk, will the bid be per hunter or all hunters for one bid?
Ilbowhunter
03-04-2007, 09:15 PM
I say it's up to you if the bid stays at $50 I think that should be per hunter but if the bid goes to $1000 I say that could cover 4 guns. Its not my decision though. Thanks Brent
Guys let make this EZ just one bid and I will allow 3 to 4 guys. But lets start bidding. I will bid $55.00

I am seriously overwhelmed at this. When I posted this deal up I was hoping to get $5 or something from some of you, I am at a loss for words. The minimum donation I needed to race was $580 total. I had that covered when I signed up. We are well over $2000 including this hunt deal. When I talked to the organizers last week they asked where I was seeking donation and I told them that a bunch of goose hunters on the Foiles Migrators Forum had stepped up and outdone themselves and he went silent. "Goose hunters?" Yessir...a bunch of guys who for the most part will never ride a sportbike and live on the other side of the country stepped up and went above and beyond. He wanted me to personally thank you for your efforts.
Y'all rock!
BTW if your donation is over $50 you get to write it off on next years taxes. Cant beat writing off a hunting trip!
