Call Maintenance?

I have a Meatgrinder. Other than occassionally removing the insert from the barrel and wiping both down, do you have any other maintenance tips?

Also, run warm water through both as well, just helps keep all the $h*t out of it and sounding as good as possible.

Nick hit it on the head....that's all I do with my MG. Take it apart, wipe it down, and run some warm water through bot pieces to get out all of the garbage that gets in there while hunting.

I don't do any thing to mine until there so full of donuts and candy bars I can't blow through them, I like that well used look. Johnny McDonnell

On the barrel I like to run water through it and then wipe it down with a cue tip. That gets all that left over dirt and water out off the barrel.

I also run water through my calls and then a cue tip. However on occasion I will use mouthwash to kill some bacteria in the call, i.e. if I have been sick or had a cold.
