I went goose huntin for the first time this year and decided to get into it. I currently have no goose call. Ive heard short reeds are the way to go. I want something kinda cheap that sounds descent. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Whtas the cheapest you think I could get one for?
the meat grinder is the lowest priced call if your looking to buy new. if youve got the extra money buy a SMH its a great all around call even for someone just starting out. you might find something in the yard sale where you can save a couple pennies.

This is kinda like beating a dead horse, but i have a new opinion on this one, if your going to go the meatgrinder route, save a little more money, go for the Wood MeatGrinder, you will get far better sound range out of the wood call.....just my $.02

I agree with Justin, if you can cough up the extra money go for the wood....
