Wow!! Inflation, I guess. I just ordered an SMC and didn't get a pouch or an FMI decal with my shipment. What do you use those pouches for anyways??

.......Well mainly i used them for my Max4 calls to keep them from banging together and chipping the dip, but im to the point now where im like screw it......but i keep my calls that arent on my lanyard or the ones in my blind bag in the pouches...

Sorry Al, I have a lanyard worth more than your gun so why wouldn't I keep it nice? I mean it makes sense to have them in their pouch if your not using them. If my calls arn't on my lanyard they are probably in their pouch.

Ummm Al you have NEVER shot my birds and you will NEVER shoot my birds. Last time I checked we shoot birds inside 20 yds and when you stop flagging, well they still haven't left Canada. Words from the Left and center blinds: "AL KEEP FLAGGING", words from the Right side of the blind row: "my arms are tired"

Damn, it seems as I've missed an entire pissing match between a few IKC members and I have yet to get to give some input on the topis.

To add onto this.....right side (Al) ground sound during and after shooting....silence. Left side (me) and middle (Derek) ground sound during and after shooting.....THUMP..THUD.THUMP....KERPLUNK.

No comment. Al and I saw that Sportsman's had 3 or 4 brand new original SBE's and one lefty. This was a week after Al got his sx3 and he seemed a bit sad that they now had a left-handed sbe that he coulda picked up for less than a $1,000.

hhhhhhhmmmmm i havent seen an original SBE in ten differant sporting goods stores in over 4yrs.....must be old left overs.

Barry, I will 2nd that. I have had my SBE for 4 years this month and I believe the SBE2 came out the following fall if I'm not mistaken. So yeah like you said, about 4 years. 4 black synthetic ones.....definately pretty freakin' weird.,. :?
i know my guns brother...............sure they werent SBEII old style without the squared off trigger gaurd, thats new within the last year or so the SBE"s and SBEII's look identical.

solo hunt? i would have to disagree with you on that. im pretty sure i was there
look just like my synthetic SBEII.......hey twins..........that i sold.
4 shots 3 birds, good job
Killer Miller
03-11-2007, 01:22 AM
Al, I would have to disagree with you. Notice in the above picture...2 mallards and a PINTAIL, NOT A GADWALL like in this pic. Here's the hunt you are thinking of...
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l318/KillerMiller19_2006/DSCN0657.jpg
But this might as well have been a solo hunt...I killed all 3 birds. Al, gimme an air-five on that double.

the SBEI and SBEII are identical they changed em interaly not externaly, the old SBE' held the fourth shell on the carrier. there been 3 revisions in the last 6 yrs..............like i said i know my guns
correction.........they changed the new SBEII's with the comfort tech system, trigger gaurd and a slight change in the forend style.
am i not correct ?

My SBE won't hold the 4th shell in the carrier....not until I JB weld it this week. :D Did you mean the really old SBE's? My dad has an old SBE that'll hold the 4th......Oh and I'd hate to think how many shells that gun has eaten up in the past 7 or 8 years.

yes sir...........before the SBEI............same exact gun just wouldnt hold the fourth shell. 1st revision.
Killer Miller
03-11-2007, 01:50 AM
Okay I gotcha. BTW, have you figured out how to make your SX2 hold the 4th shell? My dad's buddy did....too bad it hardly ever cycled for the 4th shell to be useful.
