Well, the ducks and geese are definatly back in MN. Almost every pond that was open had a duck or goose on it. I saw a dozen mallards with the most red legs i've ever seen. Haven't found the snows yet.

depends where your hunting i guess...........my honey hole was drained due to carp so i dont know how much water we'l have but the bays are still good. I think my overall honker hunting should be better but its kind of early to tell...just got to finish on em' when it counts

The best is yet to come for the spring migration here in MN. Wait two or three weeks and there will be puddlers and divers of every shape and size covering the state. All the boys are in their spring finest. I especially like to see all the cans and scaup that stay around for a couple weeks.

There are birds everywhere, i even shot a video clip of a spec mixed with some honkers. Also, i saw 6 greater scaup feeding in some open water.

I work at a gas station with a glass wall that faces the Sauk River.
every day i work i see the ducks and geese, really makes it tough to stay inside the station.
