They're around the calhoun/pike/greene county area. I know those birds have been usin' del-air and swan lake. Heard there were some birds usin the field across from the duck club. I think Jared might have tried to get into them?

I guess some of me and my dad's crew hunted yesterday and saw 4 or 5 nice sizes groups but wouldnt even look at the spread. I think the peak here in Iowa is still 3 weeks away. Of course, this depends on the weather.

hey man i am in Burlington Iowa and it is around 0 to -2, you are a long way from the peack of your migration. I shot 24 today in St. Charles Missouri. We killed one neck collar and mostly ross. Most of the geese are up in louisana MO. and all around Pleasant Hill Ill. We are going to run hunters pretty soon, 150 per day and we will hunt all day and all the geese you shoot will be in your face, we promise that. We have all the tricks and callers you could ever think of. Man I am telling you these sky carp are the high light of my season, no limit and can get huge groups in on you at one time. It is the deal!!!!

My group killed 4 snows and 2 blues on Friday in Ft. Madison Iowa. Those are the first ones we have killed. They saw about 10 land outside the decoys from his house and 2 guys crawled on them and killed 4 and then had 2 land later and they killed both of them. We are just starting to see a few here in Iowa. Hey Steve Demaster, where do you guide out of? You sounded good this weekend at the Iowa calling competition man, but some of those guys are jsut awesome. Who was that guy that won the goose anyway? I had never even heard of him.

I went down in the St. Charles Bottoms w/ Demaster. Had around 1500 dekes out and i'm sure there's more now that the ground is thawin' a little bit down there. We saw a lot of birds..they were just a little skiddish, and the ducks were unbelievable. We were dyin' for a video camera. It's worth a guy's time and money if he wants to go down there though. There's a lot of birds and they've got a real nice deal down there. In the end we managed to knock 7 out of the population, and hell, we even ordered some pizza out to the pit...what a deal that was!

we treat all out people great, we will grind them. We had at least 13,000 on top of us last night at one time. They got here good now man, I am telling you. We put out around 900 more rags to replace the one we lost in the wind storm. In the end we are going to have around 2800 decoys in the end. Man i am telling you it is on.

Call me about the the hunts
