hey guys, wuts up. i gotta question. i need to buy some more decoys because 5 1/2 dozen of our silhouettes got stolen and we're hunting on a different farm. I was wondering if you guys knew of any top level decoys that wont put so much of a strain on my pocket. I was also wondering how much ur calls differ from sean mann, because i've been using them a lot and still havent gotten the exact feel for them yt. I was thinkin of buying a strait meat honker, or should I buy something else with the hard migraters flying more often than residents or low flying flocks
thnx a lot

i would suggest greenhead gear, final approach, or bigfoot decoys deff. top of the line also i would go with teh high plains honker or market hunter because they have a little more volume than the smh also where do u hunt at on the eastern shore of maryland? i hunt in northeast maryland

That old SMH can reach out there and touch 'em to boys...don't let him fool ya :D! I think these are the easiest calls to blow on the market today. Requires very little back pressure and has a sound that is at the top of the market! I don't think you can go wrong w/ any of these!

Yeah I dont think you could go wrong with any of the Foilles calls. My first was a SMH and I love it. I would definatly start out w/ a SMH because once you master it all of Foiles Calls use the same techniques to blow.

I would go with the SMH as well, best sounding SR on the market.

dixiehunter13 - What kind of decoys are we talking about here? Geese, ducks, snows, full bodies, floaters or more silos. I have a love for outlaw silos and GHG ducks and geese. If you go GHG or FA you better be prepared to take care of them. I have abused my GHG's and unlike some that have problems I can't complain but wish I would have went with the 6 or 12 slot bags then mine wouldn't have any wear at all on them. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed with the GHG, FA or Aero Outdoors  decoys. Man talk about realistic.
I won't disagree with those that state the Meat Grinder and the Strait Meat Honker is the bomb! The bomb for you will be the call that you are the most comfortable with. Now easiest blowing call on the market might be a stretch but if you order it from the factory and request that it be tuned that way you won't be disappointed. If you walk into a sheels or cabelas and pick up a honker you might be disappointed. I have found that goose calls are like goose callers. We are all tuned a little bit different. :) Don't discount it because it's a little too high at first. I took me a while to get used to the higher pitch of the short reeds but man when that first group of 12 came over at 10 feet I was hooked! :)

im talkin bout goose decoys, we hardly go duck huntin, and ducks wouldnt be near our blind cuz we hunt a little ways inland. we wanna git some full bodies cuz silos wont be much of a prob gittin them.

I'm a Bigfoot fan myself, there is a reason why they have been around so long and haven't really changed, they are tuff as nails and are well worth it.In our trailer we have Bigfoots, Higdons, & GHG, I'd take Bigfoots over any of them any day.For a call I'll say like I say to everyone, go somewhere like Cabelas or Macks, whatever you have, don't look at names, don't look at prices, just start playing with them, find the call that fits you and your style and buy it.For me that just happens to be Foiles :D
