I was at a sporting goods store not too long ago and was shouldering those guns. WOW, that's all I can say. They fit me like it was custom built! I couldn't believe it! How are they for hunting? I bet awesome. Probably not gonna buy one because I'm getting a pump because I don't have the $$ for a semi right now..Hopefully in the future
bingo............thats the best part , the guns fits you. there great guns and very reliable, but expect a hickup every once in a while from any autoloader. the biggest problem ive seen with autos having a problem is some guns dont like certain brands of ammo or there really dirty..
now if your getting a pump. buy the nova or super nova, both of these have almost the identical stock as the SBE and the lenght of pull is the same, so they should shoulder almost exactly the same. the nova's are extremly fast for pumper, very reliable and well built.

Good call. I'd do the same. Get the Super Nova and be done with it. Then if you decide to buy one down the line it will be because you want one & not because you dont like the gun you have. The good thing about the new Benelli's is that you can change out the recoil pads and change the drop with the shim kits. That alone is a HUGE plus. I know i had to buy the 14" LOP pad for my SBEII so it would fit me correctly. Now you can shoot a regular pad for doves and clays and then shorten it up for ducks to make up for the jackets that you will be waring and the gun will still fit you the same. Which has been a problem for a lot of us in the past.
You may want to ceck DU"S website and see if they are going to have a shoot in your area also. I know we have one in our area every year and you can rent a lot of guns and shoot them to find which one you like.
Good Luck!
