I wish team strait meat the best of luck in 06 but is has to hurt loosing two old timers in less then six months. Not to mention a web site that is in shambles. :( I did some checking today and can't find another one in worse shape then foiles migrators which before the make over used to have the most kick ass call site on the web. I know Troy Bailey has continued to support my Foiles calls and I am so thankful he has the amount of professionalism that he does and never has a bad thing to say about Jeff or the awesome calls he has made. That is one of the things that turned me onto foiles that seems to be a thing of the past.

I understand you have other priorities Kelley but do you realize the web site reaches thousands of people and the shape it is in can't be good for business. I think its time to put up or shut up and get it taken care of. It's been months since the new format and it's is no where close to being finished. Nothing against you Kelly is was in bad shape when you took the rains but nothing has change since you have been acclaimed to the webmaster position. Now with Mark and the exceptional customer service he offered to customers for foiles gone, I wonder where everything is heading. Don't get me wrong I don't mean to bash anyone I just would like to see Jeff and team strait meat returned to the previous fame that got us all into these awesome calls. I am sure I am not the only one that has noticed the lack of professionalism on the Web since the forums have begun.

Again I wish nothing but the best for Foiles but I have major concerns when I see the supposed direction things seem to be heading in. I hope I am wrong because I still get a tingle inside when I tell people that was a strait meat that killed those geese!

gary man not tryin to start a brew ha or anything this is just my opinion but to me the website is not in shambles. the only things that arent up to date is the pics and the pro staff page which takes time and kelly is working on. as to reachin millions the part where the calls and everything are, are still plenty accessible. and everyone knows the number to the shop if they have any questions. im sure we all remember when the forum crashed and the job kelly did gettin it up and runnin again. i honestly dont think much wil change in way of their service etc. where old has left plenty new have come in. i may not be a prostaffer but i had to chime in.

kelly man your doin a hell of a job keep it up brother

Wow...

I dont know where to start. First customer service is in the best shape it's EVER been. With Lisa and Brian in the shop things have really gotten much better. Customer service is being praised as of late everywhere you look. We have some STRONG new faces out there including Big Sean and Mark Spence. Mark is the poster child for professionalism.

As far as the website goes I'm not sure what you mean by shambles. With the exception of the Pro-Staff page everything is up to date. Jeff is in the process of having new photos done for products so we can update those. I have spent countless hours fixing the store, inventory, SQL databases, e-mail accounts, available colors in both the site and 3 SQL databases, and PDF vendor and dealer forms. You know...the stuff that makes the business go. As a matter of fact I just spent my Friday night deleting 3132 SPAM E-mails from the server. Yes...Three Thousand one hundred thirty two. There are also 10 inboxes that I manage throughout the day.

We run over 12,000 megs of bandwidth a month through this website.

I apologize if I'm not up to snuff...

If this website is in shambles, than i guess the rest are really bad. I feel Kelly has done an excellent job keeping everything strait, and i don't even know the guy. There are plenty of other sites that are so messed up that you can't even register to become a member. Obviously Gary had some ties with some guys that aren't around anymore, but to start this crap is uncalled for. You sir are the one that has problems. Long live TEAM STRAIT MEAT.

I think Kelly has done a wonderful job. The incident that took place between Jeff and the other pro-staffers has nothing to do with how the website is. I have been on the team for 6 years and have never seen it better. If you look at the other websites, there is alot of compliments on how the customer service has been. You have to hand it to Kelly for taking this site over midstream. At least I do. The problem with Troy went alot deeper with Jeff then customer service. I am glad to hear Troy is supporting you. Troy is a gentlemen. This team is as strong as ever. Just out of curiosoty, what went in your search of the other sites to determine that this is the worst one? Losing pro-staff people is never a good thing. However knowing the facts on why some of these people left and why they were asked to leave, it was best for both parties. Regardless on how the website is and how the pro-staffers left, Jeff will continue to make a very good product and continue to strive towards a good customer service.

Man brother you are way off base here. You should listen to Lovell and Curtsinger. Kelly is doin' a phenomenal job on this deal. He has so much to take care of it's ridiculous. I for one think FMI and the website are both headed in a great direction. As Scott said, you do not know the reasons or conditions on why certain pro-staffers are not a part of FMI anymore. And for you to make assumptions on such matters is wrong being that it's out of your realm of knowledge on the situation. The buisness is getting bigger and better every waking day. Kelly is in the process of updating certain aspects of the website (which aren't vital to sales or the company) for peoples viewing pleasure. Jeff inked a deal w/ FA to come out with a full line of top of the line hunting gear to sell to people who want to use the best. Where old pro-staffers were, there are new and motivated people to take their place. I think that for the customers of FMI, the sky is the limit. I am proud to be associated w/ FMI, Jeff, and all of the other pro-staffers. Kelly, you keep it up, we're behind you 100%.

Wow, this is a good one, you are all over the place here brother....First of all, this new site has become a great tool for all the Foiles supporters out there to get together and talk about Foiles products, hunting, calling, get help from pro-staffers, and not to mention the occasional contests that give away "Free" Foiles products (contests that you sir have thrown your hat into), see new products, get tips, get updates, etc, etc, etc.

The site still has all its main components it had before, with a handful of added features, of which a majority are functional, with the exception of the Pro-Staff page, a section of the entire site I don't think will make or break FMI or keep a customer from purchasing a call or two. And as far as your customer service comments go, there isn't an organization out there with such efficient customer service as FMI, the people at the shop are quite competant and knowledgeable and able to serve a large volume of customers.

FMI is moving in a great direction, and I personally am very excited to be a part of the future with the launch the Jeff Foiles Signature products at FA, new calls, etc. This is a great organization, one that I'm sure everyone involved with is proud to be a part of and WE and am sure Kelly does not appreciate your comments.....so if you do not think the site is up to snuff or don't think you are getting the service you need, there are plenty of other, probably "Better" sites that you could visit and be a part of. Keep up the good job Kelly!!

I have been on the Foiles Migrators Pro Staff for 3 years now and I very happy. I'm very proud to be a member of the Best Calling Team Staff of the calling industry. I appreciate the oppotunity to represent the Foiles Migrators products and to be a part of the Team "Strait Meat".

WOW!!!,

This is something new for the site. I ama loyal customer, supporter, and forum member, and that is regardless of who is or isn't on the pro-staff. I think all of are anxiously awaiting the new changes to come to the sight but that is for our own selfish guiltless pleasure. When I bought my first Foiles calls, I really didn't know who any of the prostaffers where, but I still bought them. And now that I am getting to know some of the pro-staffers from this site, and after next weekend, I should meet a few in person, I like the organization even better. Krees has done a fenominal Job with this site, and I know he will bring the FMI site back up to being the best their is. Remember, this is not the only site or business Kelly is in.
He is a rather busy man.

So keep up the great work Kelly, Jeff, and The Pro-Staff.

Look forward to meeting you guys in the coming months.

Jeff

I really don't have room to get involved in this but I have to put in my 2 cents. All I have to say is, Gear Down Gang you are way out of line and I definitely disagree with you. I have checked other sites and I don't see very many other sites that have a forum going like Foiles does, nor do they have hunting games, fan pictures, and many other things. And I'm sure once Kelly gets this site really going and Foiles gets their new line of stuff out, Foiles is going to make everybody else look like a local t-ball team compared to the New York Yankees. Foiles has a great thing going for them, I know that when it comes to calls, foiles is the only one's I buy b/c I know they have the best. When it comes to trucks, guns, or any other thing I buy I dont prefer one brand name, but when it comes to calls foiles is the only thing you will find on my lanyard. Jeff and all the Pro-staff I just want you to know you guys are the best and I respect what you guys bring to the sport greatly, keep up the great work.
Zink, Grounds, and all you other guys keep trying to play catch up b/c Foiles will always be on top.

Again I am not coming down on Kelley. These problems have been around for a lot longer then kelley has been a pro staffer.

Here are a few things that haven't worked since the switch over. (I am not talking about the newly added forums I am talking about the Website)

http://foilesstraitmeat.com

Ask Jeff, Jeff's Journal, Straight Meat Recipes have never worked! Decoys are still listed as windlife. Avery Blinds and clothing is still for sale Bet those FA guys are loving that one. lol  Colors for the calls haven't been updated and still shows the little squatting pic's. :(

Slaughter pics are all 04??? Jeff's pics - last one was Feb 21, 2005 :( Contest pic's were last updated Jun 01, 2005 - Now I know for a fact straitmeat has kicked some butt since then.

Wallpapers haven't worked since the switch and there used to be some killer backgrounds on the old site.

Kelley - don't take this wrong but my filters drop 3,000 spam messages an hour. I was not looking for an apology from you. I am not trying to bash the job that you are doing. I am no more then a concerned customer voicing some things that I see are broken and need to be fixed.

I am a very loyal Foiles customer and I feel I have some valid concerns that I have voiced. The responses are what I expected and I hate to inform you guys but I ain't your Brother, Bro Brotha or any other form of the word Nick we are talking apples and oranges. You are talking about the forum and I agree it is a great place to get information.

Scott I have no idea what problems there were between Jeff and Troy (Troy has never said anything about that situation). Yes he is an Admin on my forums and I am damn glad to have him. He has never badmouthed foiles in anyway to me or anyone that I know.

I am glad that Mark Spence is now working at the shop and the addition of Big Shawn is great also. I have never talked to anyone but Mark and the professionalism he showed was second to none. I truly hope customer service will stay at the level it was before Mark's departure.

Scott Curtsinger - I am not trying to start anything I felt my post was about as professional as it could be. I have no problems and will still show up at the blind with my Foiles call around my neck and will continue to do so even though I think I have voiced some concerns that are valid.

The other sites I used to compare are Zinks, RNT / QuackHead, Buck Gardner and a few others. I did find a few broken links on those sites and reported them to their webmasters.

Gary

We appreciate your concern for the website. As you know since you run a website of your own

www.bjacked.net

theres alot more than just updating some links etc. when you take over a website.

As far as your concerns go:

There was Avery merch still on the store because there was still Avery merch in inventory. I could not update that until I had a new inventory reflecting sales in Harrisburgh. Sean and Brian kiccked butt up there and now there is no more Avery merch in stock. Gary, this is a store...whats on the store is reflected by inventory. i cant just go willy nilly around deleting inventory until I know what it is.

Windlife heads are still for sale in the store. We have no FA gear in yet so it's not reflected on the store.

Call pics are being redone as I previously posted.

Jeff's Journal, Slaughter pics and wallpapers are really not a huge concern at the moment as there are many other more important things that must be done first. You have to have your potatoes before you pour the gravy.

Again, thank you for your time in pointing out all of the problems with the website. I will be addressing them over the next weeks.
