Question On Calling

I always seem to put alot of guttarl sound into my call , I almost grunt into it . I do that because I think it sounds better than just blowing in it. I was wondering if that would hurt my calling as far as getting faster on the it . I seem to have trouble getting a double cluck and spit note to sound right , and was wondering if I'm using to much voice. Just wondering if I should work on just blowing or keep doing what I've been doing .

JPS, I'm not the best goose caller out there, but my SMH makes me sound pretty good. I don't know if I can help you out, but I grunt into my call alot too. I can double cluck pretty fast, but I dont think I grunt as much when doing it. I can't do a spit note though. I wouldnt use it in the field anyway.
