anyone every ever used an ithaca 10ga autoloader
i'm looking at a used one, vented rib, 32" barrel, full choke, no tubes
they don't make them any more, quit in 1982, gun guide says $569-$703
it's not camo, it's shiny and pretty (that sucks)
so tell me what you know if anything
thanks

I have a Remington 10ga which is the same thing. Remington bought the design from Ithica & i love it! It cycles well and there's nothing like a 10ga! It has a distinctive bark and the range will blow you away once you get the lead right.

Henry, since you've shot both, do you get the same reach with the 26" with the tubes as the 32" full choke?

same range,, loose a small amount of velocity but the 26 inch tubes point alot quicker an balance the gun better,,, and if ya hunt with the merciless cut throats i do,, ya better be quick comin out of the blind or nothins left,,lol

That's true, my SBE II kicks harder with certian 3 1/2's.

If it's a full choke barrel and no screw in chokes then you may have a problem if you shoot steel through it. Steel typicaly does not pattern well out of a full choke.

I have a single shot 10ga also with a 32" and full choke. It's a tank, but it will roll birds at 70+......gotta love that!

I have shot my father’s Mag 10 for years, loved it.............. Just stopped using it two years ago, wanted to keep it in good shape since it was my old mans. You could really reach out and touch em with that thing.

They had 2 differant barrel makers for a short time. One maker made a thicker barrel that can have chokes put in now. The other is just to thin once the end has been boared and taped to be safe. Not many of the thinner ones are out there, but they do exsist.
