How did your season go???

Ours started off really slow with all the hot weather but it really picked up once we had our first cold front. Overall probably the worst we've had in 4-5 years.[img]

Mine is just getting started, I will hunt Canada's through the end of January, then start chasing those pesky snow till march. How much longer is your season?

First half was great, my partner and I shot 156 ducks and 101 geese, just waiting for the December 26th split to start. Just scouted today and saw thousands of divers and thousands of mallards where I plan to hunt on the 26th. Ahhh the joys of hunting :D

So far the season has been good here in Delaware. Cant wait til me and the boys go out to our farm saturday... we have killed 174 geese and 123 ducks.

Had a great season but it ain't over til the last goose falls. Here in Iowa, there is a late season goose season that will run from Dec. 24th through the 9th of January. And I also hunt in Illinios with my dad. Heading there in a few days. Ducks and geese are still open. We're gonna field hunt them. But a successful season overall. I probably shot about 60 ducks and 15 geese so far. Two banded geese too. I had never shot a banded bird until this year.

Kelly why'd ya dig this thread up? Any signifigance to it? I wonder what post number that was of mine.....prolly a few hundred I'm guessing.

P.S. Referring to my 2005 post, I shot 3 more banded geese that December while at my dad's during x-mas. :D
