I just got my first one. And I love it. Sounds great. I think it is better than the hedge.

Hedge is deeper and mellow.....maple is raspy and hollow and a little louder.

Man the birds were all over me this year. Next year is gonna be even better if the birds make it this far. My mom and dad are buyin a new house. I went with them to look at it and there must have been 2000-2500 geese in the back yard. I cant wait. I will be at their house more than mine.

I bought a SMH in maple a week ago. I agree with the hege comment though. Thats what I wanted but Sue said they had no idea when the wood be available and I can' t wait that long!
