Ok, so lately alot of the guys on here have been talking about the HPH. My came in today. WOW!!! I hadn't had the oppertunity to play with this call before today. This thing rocks, this is going on the laynard in the #1 slot. I wish I had this durning hunting season.
If any of you guys are thinking about getting a new goose call, check this one out.

I'd have to agree, HPH has taken the number one spot on my rope as well. I've got one in acrylic and one in flamed hedge. Both are dynamite, the wood is a bit deeper/ growlier, won't be long before I get a birds eye.

I have the SMH in birds eye, that thing rocks too. Hope they bought a lot of the wood this year. I know 3 guys that want one like mine now.

Is it an all birdseye call or do you run the acrylic insert?

Ever Since i picked my HPH up, i havent been able to put it down, something about that insert has the lowend laydown work, just out of this world, i cannot make half of those low territorial angry goose sounds on any of my calls as i can on that HPH...mine moved into the #1 spot, also, with my ST taking Second, and the Cocobola/Smoke Comp going to be a close third, i too really wish i would have had a HPH for this past season, but it will definitly have some kills on it EARLY next season......
Will be making additions to the Collection over the next few months, Cocobola HPH, Cocobola Legend, and Cocobola MG.....and maybe a Cocobola TR if i can find one....i want a whole lanyard of Wood Foiles calls.......and if any of you know me and know my call buying habits.....well you know i will have one......

How are all of your HPH's tuned? I tuned mine high.

Drake...
I tune all of my Calls Super Light ( with the Exception of my Comp Call ), In the Field i find that it is way easier to get as many notes as you can in one breath if your call is tuned light, i also think that i tune my calls for sound in the medium range, that way with less backpressure they tend to be high, and with more back pressure they thend to be lower, just what i have grown acustomed since i started tuning my own calls, i pay close attention when tuning my calls light to Wedge placement, some believe that wedge placement is Critical to tuning the call, and it has a lot to do with tone, as does tone board and exposed reed, i found that the farther you jam the wedge into the insert the lighter the call becomes, but you sacrifice low end, and the call will almost always stick a little easier, also, vice versa, if you leave more wedge out, you will gain low end, but make the call heavier or harder to blow, problem with tuning your calls light is, that if you have one super light and one medium, if you switch back and forth, the one that is a little heavier, seems like its impossible to blow, so i have the issue of haveing all my calls tuned light, but like i said before in the field, when you want to get as many notes as you can in, lighter in my preference is the way to go.......not saying this is best for you, but that you should find what is comfortable....and go from there.....

Yeah my comp call is tuned a little harder too blow than my HPH and my comp call is a medium tone. My HPH is super easy but I need to tune it a little more medium tune so the notes run better.

I agree, that call is sic. My buddy has one and he's let me borrow it for a little while and it is awesome. My number one priority at WWIII is to get one. Hopefully in flamed hedge but I won't hold my breath. I didn't see any wood calls there last year.

Sweeeet colors Barry.
I was talking to a buddy today who had a HPH #933 or so. He sold it to his roommate for $40, and it was in near new condition! I was insanely jealous.
