Fellas,
i have a Foiles HPH and like it. But i don't know, i kind of want a Market Hunter. I may trade my HPH for a market hunter. What do you ll think? I have tried this call and liked it too but not really hard, can it get fast like the hph?

I have blown both of these calls but do not own either. I have a SMM and a SMH. It seemed like the market hunter took less air than the HPH, but I havent blown either of them enough to tell you anything about them. I think I'll stick with my blue on blue SMH.

I have all three of these calls. I started out with the smh then I bought the mh, then I just got the hph about a month ago. And I have to say the hph is my favorite out of all of them. It's definitely the fastest, and it is very loud. I would say stick with the hph, but that's just my opinion.

If you like what you got, then I would stick with it. But I can tell you the HPH is a touch louder and has a bit more low end. As far as being able to blow one faster than the other, the one you are blowing the fastest on is likely tuned a bit lighter. I don't think either one is claimed to be faster than the other. I have both calls, and I personally use the MH more, but that is because I have blown it longer, the more I blow the HPH the more I am taking a liking to it, who knows, maybe next the MH will be off, or just add the HPH, who knows, bottom line is they are both great calls and you can't go wrong with either one, heck just get another one.....thats what I would do :) No, but really, you gotta do whats best for you and use what you think fits you the best

Nick said it best....the speed deal - has to do with tuning. My MH is faster than my HPH, but HPH is more versatile for me because I have it tuned a lot harder (allows me to hit spits, willis, etc. without sticking it hard).
Blow a couple MH and see what you think....notice I said what YOU think!!!!
Either call WILL kill geese!!!! It's all a matter of personal preference!!!

I own an SMH,MH and HPH, as well as SMC I have each of them tuned a little different than the next to work to whatever the birds want to hear in that situation. I hunt alot over water and it has been my expirence that MH fills the bill well over water. I have it tuned somewhat light so I can get some speed out of it. Some my sugguestion is get both and have them tuned a little different to cover you in any given situation. But hey thats just my two cents worth.....

I don't understand why settle onone, keep the one you got and buy the other and have one of each  I like to be able to mix up the sound a bit so having a couple of different calls makes since to me.

Heck I am just learning how to blow these calls now. I have a MH SMH and HPH plus the SMM and TR.
I have a new rule for hunting with me and my spots.
If you can not blow a short reed you get to stay home and practice till you can at least cluck. Until you can cluck you are out of luck.
So I have all 3 calls. Learn each one and hand them out for your buddies to practice with so the can hunt with you.
I know that I shouldn't say it here but I also purchased 4 Zinks and one Grounds call.
I look up to guys like Big Shawn and see he can basically blow any call. I am sure many here can blow about any call and have small preferences.
One call I love is the SMH for calling birds in but I think I will switch to a SR-1 wood call for my growler. It seems so mellow.
So to you my friend buy the MH and keep your HPH.
Think of the day when nothing is responding to your HPH and then you switch to the MH and bang the first flock comes right in :D
Can you say worth it all?
