Here are a few pictures of our weekend. 8 of us went out hunting ground squirrels. The man on the .50 cal BMG is my little brother. The other pictures are my sons and hunting buddies! Needless to say we had a blast. Here are a few of the calibers of guns we took along. .177 air rifle, .17 hmr .222, .223, .243, 22-250, 22-250 ackley improved the 7.62 sks, .308, .338 mag., .38, .357, .45acp, .30 carbine, .22 lr and a 22 mag. I think I got them all named. We take a trailer just to haul all of our ammo and rifles.

How much differance is there in Ground squirells vs P Dogs.

More or less of them?

Harder to find?

Farther shots?

Thanks

P Dogs out here are way harder to find. We don't have P Dogs here in Idaho. I would have to go to another state for them. As far as the squirrels go, they are plentifull. All over the state. Most of our shots averaged 250 yards. We did takes some shots out to 500 yards plus! My best shot was about 300 yards off handed with my brothers .338 win mag!

Yeah that thing is a blast to shoot! My 13 year old shoots it! Not much recoil to it.

It is a single shot. He built the gun out of an old machine gun barrell. He built the action as well. Its not a bolt action, you load it from the back. More of a breach loader type.
