New Goose call

I have just been a meat grinder now i'm thinking of up gradeing to something new. I hunt small back ponds(so I don't need something loud) and back bays. I'm also thinking of getting a nother call for open water. Any help would be sweet.

I'd recommend the Strait Meat Honker, its a very good all around call that will compliment your Meat Grinder.

If you're talking about two calls: one soft for potholes and one loud for open water; I would go with an all coco bola SMH for soft situations and an acrylic SMH, SMC or Showtime for "screaming" across the open water. If you're only in the market for one, I would go with the coco bola since you said you hunt a lot of back potholes. Barry is certainly right on the model; the SMH is the next logical step after the Meatgrinder.

Check out the wood. Either a SMH or a MH. Both calls would be a great addition

I have a birds eye SMH and it sounds great on the water. I cant wait to put it to use in sept.
