Not to be a stick in the mud, but if you're making a video to resale or use for promotional or business in any way, you can't just use what you want, you have to pay royalties for it, otherwise you open yourself up to piracy and copyright laws. Now if you're doing it for yourself for your own personal fun you can do it, but if it's put out in anyway for business or promotional, etc. you're screwed! Just thought I'd give you a heads up. You can google the internet for royalty free music, and see what you find, or you can buy royalty free music online. Most all the popular music is very big money, and is usually a royalty driven thing where you pay for each use, not a one time fee, etc. Better look into it. Take care.

Get some of our own era rock stars? So it is our fault that there are no good heavy metal bands from our era? :? And I distinctly remember my parents going to an AC/DC concert in the mid-to-late 90's, which is when I was about 10 or 12 years old and already listening to them.

Duck squad, I agree with you to a point. As there are more and more yougsters entering the great sport of waterfowling, rap songs may eventually be heard in hunting videos. I listen to some rap, but mostly country and rock. Considering rap music has caught on fairly recently, hunting vidoes are definately not the place for them as of now. 10 years from now, maybe.

Does it make it any less good NO not in my opinion, im sure back in the day when people were shooting geese over tires, that was the Cat Meow back then, and look what we have now, goose decoys, that look more like geese then the freakin GEESE do...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend, and we come from an Era where MANY types of Music are the BIG thing, not Just one type, so its really hard to Judge one from another, I was raised listening to Classic Country music, and what some might call Honkey Tonk, does that make me a redneck, now i listen to most anything under the sun, from George Straight, to Jay-Z, its music, it has a beat, if you take all the politics out of it, it refers back to its origial state, MUSIC, something that makes you feel a certain way, something that reminds you of a certain date, like when i hear an old country song, reminds me of car rides with my grandparents, or when i hear a nirvan song, reminds me of hanging out with old friends, or when i hear a NORE song, reminds me of Cruising the Beach looking for Girls.....Music is what you make of it, and in my eyes there is no right or wrong, if you dont like it dont listen to it, but dont bash it.......

Being a guitarist, I really dig the newer band DragonForce. They got some insane playing, and the drums are pretty good.
A couple other suggestions-
Judas Priest- Breaking the Law
Ronny James Dio- Holy Diver
Ronny James Dio- Rainbow in the Dark

I think to get the energy through the tv screen and into the viewer you gotta have something with good heavy beats and a fairly quick tempo.

Oh, and there is not a lot of the newer stuff that appeals to me like the older stuff does. about the most recent material that I really like would be Pantera and Metallica, excluding the horrendous desecration of metal presented in St. Anger. I even like Metallica with the San Francisco Orchestra, would be in total heaven if that was on a video.
