Bad Grammar with Scott Threinen!

I got the CD not knowing he was with Grounds, but it is a good CD set that is for sure.

P.S.- Nice avatar

Not necessarily, I didn't think he was with anyone actually.

I don't care who he is for, he is one hell of a caller and his CD is better then anything i've borrowed from this buddy or that friend. The sounds that he "says" into teh call are better than trying to use words and are easier to pick up on. I had more immediate imoprovement just in how I made my honk than I have had with any other CDs.

Sorry, I didn't mean anything by my rant, just sayin' that his approach is much more helpful than anything I have heard yet.

Craig McDonalds CD explains it really well. callingducks.com also has some good info on the note.

I have nothing against Scott (in fact, I called against him in Burlington and didn't even know it was him), I also like how he set the cd up......explains how and why geese use the note, then has a soundfile of geese actually doing it, then blows into other end of call so you can hear what he is doing with his pressure of voice inflection, then actually blows the note, and tells you how and when to use it.

I heard it was a good cd to learn the more advanced sounds, so I would have bought it anyway. I have nothing against Grounds or any other call co. for that matter.

Where would I find that CD.

They were talking about it on Callingducks.com's forum and I went to his link. It is under "molt gear" but he has a link to the cd there. Why did I just tell you all that? Here's the link to buy the 2-CD set. I think he only accepts PayPal, but not sure.

Just got it last weekend and I definitely would recommend it. It instructs you on how to do a lot of the harder notes. And honestly it only took me like 5 minutes after listening to some notes to be able to do them...spit note especially.
