Have any of you guys gotten onto the website callingducks.com? It's pretty awesome. It lists all the major calling contest, and list rankings for goose and duck callers. The thing I like the most is the online calling contest it has. You can either enter or anyone visiting the site can judge the contest by listening to the callers. It's a lot of fun and also informative. Give it a try.

That site has a WEALTH of information on it fellas....it had an online duck callling instruction section along with a boatload of sound files from various callers and call makers....instructional and recordings of contest routines.

Have any of you entered in the online calling contest, or judged the contest? It's alot of fun to hear all the different levels of callers. I'm always amazed at the quality of the junior callers. Most of them it seems are better than the adults.

Ive judged but havent entered. I live in a townhome and the neighbors wouldn't be too happy witht me recording in the house! But it is cool to hear all the different styles of calling people have, not to mention it makes me sound like a PRO.

No doubt on that one! Some of them are pretty terrible, not to be mean. I do think just listening and judging the contest will help to make me a better caller. It connects the thinking with the doing. You set back and hear these guys and think well he needs to do this at this point, or he needs to do that. And all the while it is embedding it further into your own head. It's definitely alot of fun. And how about the juniors!
