Question about the TIMBER RATTLER

I've been very happy with my dead meat mallard, so now I think it's time to add a timber rattler next to it, I've looked at alot of pics you guys have posted up, but I don't ever see a wood barrel/acrylic insert one, Do they still offer that combo, I was maybe thinking about that in a cocobola, or hedge barrell, (can anyone post a pic of a wooden one I've never seen one) or would you guys recommend to just stay with a all acrylic one, is there any pro's or con's on the wood barrel, Thanks for the help and advise.

There are no wood Tr's out.................YET. They are in process from what I hear.



You should really try one or all of them out to see what you prefer.

The home page" store" section show the differant color combos, as for whats in stock i couldn't tell you eventhough I was just there. if your concered about a wood call i see no problems. My cocobola SMH is almost 5 yrs old an it still looks great and has been through some really nasty weather.

I haven't seen any wood TR's on here, so my advice is to call the shop and see whats in stock.

They are comin out witha falmed Hedge TR in late summer or early fall and They look sweet :lol: :lol:

There are several of us who have Pre-Order's in for wood / acrylic TR's as we speak.

I will be getting a cocobola TR insert for my TR soon. Once i do i'll post up a pic for you.

A good friend of mine had a cocobola / smoke TR and that was the best sounding call i've ever heard. It was a few season's old and looked great.

Buy one! You wont be disapointed!

I know that the wood inserts arn't out yet, but in the Foiles catalog it show that the timber rattlers are offered with wood barrels, I'm wanting a acrylic insert for it. has anyone ever seen this combo. thanks

I currently have an all flamed hedge TR....and that baby is SWEET!!!! But, for 2-man comps, I use the flamed hedge barrel with a smoke acrylic insert tuned up as a double....crazy kinds of duck in that call!!!!

The wood barrel / acrylic insert combo is a good deal for sure.......call the shop...you never know what's laying around!!!!! :wink:

well I called the shop the other day and this is what I found out for the timber rattler, they have no wood barrels at all, they have acrylic barrels in alot of colors, they have very limited acrylic inserts like three colors only, and don't know when they will be getting anymore in, but he did say they had one flamed hedge insert and 2 cocobolo inserts, I was kind of dissapointed.
