No. It is a year or two old. Most of the Market Hunters that are out there are still numbered. $75.00 is a steal when they retail at $150. If you buy the Market Hunter you won't have to adjust the SMH. The market hunter is a little different sounding call than the SMH.
If i was standing there I would deffinatly be purchasing it immediatly.
Which gander moutain r u getting these cheap calls at?

Because you would have 2 different calls you could tune to different pitches. then you dont have to adjust your SMH for a different sound. Thats why many of os pack several calls around.

If you were to buy a Market Hunter it has a different sound that the SMH(Strait Meat Honker).
You said in your prior posts about hunting a field every day. If you switch between a Market Hunter and a SMH you wouldn't have to retune every time you hunted a field twice. I hunt the same field for two to three days and the key is not educating the birds. Keeping your shots true and your calling accurate you should be able to get your limit and leave so you don't educate the birds.
I carry multiple calls with me just because different calls appeal to different birds. I have greeted them with a high pitched polycarb, switched to the fast clucking acrylic sounds of my SMH. However most birds turn after being greeted by the SMH!

All the Gander Mountain Stores are running a 40% off deal on all their calls to include the high end stuff like Foiles.

Smoke stop by Springfield and pick me up on your way. :D
I would considder a meat cutter if you allready have a SMH, it has the "Old Goose" sound that draws them in.

Hey hammer dont sell that mkt hunter short. It is my definite go to call the more I use it I like it more. And it is really deadly on small geese for me and wise resident geese in the late season.

OK OK I bought it and it sounds OK.
I also bought the straight meat duck call.
I do not know why any cheap duck call has always seemed to work for us.
We have done tons of experiamenting with duck calls and it is stupid how the worst calls still work.
Picked up the zink PC1 also.
