Getting ready to order another layout blind package from Rogers, got one last year, SUB, and I love it! I was looking today and they have a Eliminator top gun package. Has anyone used this blind? It has some nice features or should I just stick with another SUB? Thanks for the help!

Sorry I have not personally used one, but have been in the field with them.

They are very roomy blinds. A friend has one and he swears it is a warmer blind then the finisher he used to have.

A big downside for me is that I do not have an 8 foot box on my truck. So traveling one is darn near impossible. If you have a big enough trailer (length) they do stack nice along the sides as they are very thin.

As you can see in the picture below. It's like carrying a sheet of plywood around with you. Think about what happens when you are carrying this ting in the field and you get a crosswind.....

It doesn't matter what I would buy, as I am not you. If it would meet your needs, get one. But do yourself a favor and look at how you hunt, and what you use to get there. As those are the two major factors with this blind. IMO

WOW I did not relieze how friggin big that thig was. I really dont think it will fit, and besides that I hunt a few state owned fields that you ar not allowed to drive on, gotta walk and there is no way I am lugging that thing across a field! I think I may end up sticking with another SUB! I am gonna check rogers again and see if they have ano other package deals on some other blinds! Thanks a lot

I have an Eliminator blind and I like it cause I'm 6ft but it is tough trying to haul it in a 6ft bed. Now I have an enclosed trailer but my buddy has a SUB blind and I like the fact that it folds flat. You must do some serious huntin to need a new blind already. We hunted late season all three weekends in December last year, one morning it was -14 and we hunted all day. The blinds do help you stay warm untill the birds finally got up at 10:30am that am.

Sorry I didnt clarify, I am simply ordering a new one for my daughter to use and to have a spare to take with me in case someone does not have one! My daughter is dying to go goose hunting this year and my father in-law has shown interest. Figured this way I should always have some one to hunt with!
