first goose deeks

i just bought my first goose deeks from cabelas. they are the sports plast shells w/ motion stakes. they are far from fancy but will get me started in waterfowling.

Realistic decoy placement is the key. You should be fine with that rig. I've killed plenty of geese over far less "fancy" decoys. Good Luck.

well thanks can you descirbe to me a "realistic" decoy placement? or should i just look and see how the gees are sitting in the corn fields aroundhere?

Scouting the geese in your area is the way to define "realistic". Take a ride with a good pair of binos and see how the birds are sitting. Nothing better to learn from than the birds you are after. My two cents.
