What do you guys shoot for shotgun shells?

My budy uses Federal premium 2 shot. I like to use bb or bbb in a 3.5 inch shell. what brands are good for the money and what do you prefer. I have heard that prices will be going up on Sept. 1 2007. I like the black cloud but am thinking about something cheaper just to save a little coin. Tell me what you think. Thanks

I use all Winchester 2s to BBs in Supreme or expert.

Kent Fast Steel is the "biggest bang" for your buck shot. I got a case of 3in #2s for like 130 with shipping and ive shot the Kent BBs before in 2 3/4s and I was quite impressed. Can't ignore Black Cloud either, never shot a single shell of it but the technology makes me wanna go find a tweety bird and see if i can make him disappear with the pull of the trigger. Its got 60% normal steel shot and 40% flightstopper pellets which is basicaly like razor blades on 40% of your shot, putting more brutal wounds on the birds. Black Cloud also has a different type of wad that stays compressed for a long period of time giving you longer and more knock down power further down range. I got a case of that too for a little over 2 hundo.

i've got about 3 boxes of 3" winchester super x 4's 1 1/4oz. for duck and a couple boxes of 3 1/2" federal high velocity BBB 1 3/8oz. and then i'll probably switch to kent fasteel

I shoot 3.5" BB's in either Federal Premium Heavy High Velocity Steel or Winchester Supremes, and 3" 2's of same in my 12 Gauge, and Federal Premium Heavy High Velocity Steel BBB"S in my 10 Gauge. With the new SBEII this year I don't expect to see the !) get much "Game Time" this year :wink:
