Another Benelli Question.

I am going to be getting a new gun and was looking at the M2 and the SBE II but I found at a local store a Leftover SBE I for 700.00.Is it worth buying the SBE II or is the I a better deal. I have never fired either one so dont know if the SBE I is good or not.

The SBE1 and SBE2 are very similar....really the only things the 2 has on the 1 is the comfortech and the crio-tech choke tubes and chiogenically frozen barrel. I have had an SBE for 4 1/2 years now and like it alot. It does kick....but I put a Limbsaver pad on it and that seemed to help alot. I'd say if you can pick up a brand new SBE for $700 go for it! I have $1,000 minus the BPS I traded for it in mine.

Well I took the back and I'm such a hustler that I got on the forum for a while and was still done before 10....not 11 like I'm supposed to be....10. I counted a couple drawers and we were outta there by 10:20 hehehe :lol:

Thanks for the replies I am going today to get it.Call me crazy but the only thing I dont like about the new Benellis (the SBE II and M2) is tje trigger guard.I know to most guys it is a stupid reason to sway your opinions on what gun to get but the thing I dislike the most is that is is plastic where the SBE I is metal.If I am going to dump alot of hard earned money into a gun like that It just dosent appeal to me thats all.I know alot of other guns have the plastic also but (not bashing other guns) guns like the mossbergs,remy's for example,both good guns but I'm not paying upwards of 1700.00 bucks for one either.Just my opinion.

that's a good deal. do yourself a favor since you are getting such a smokin' deal and spend the extra $130 on a surecycle - you'll never regret it and it will save you some frustration.

I got it and its sweet.The best part is that all along I thought I was going to be spending around 1700.00-2000.00 for a gun so have saved acordinglly,now with buying this gun I am now going to buy a SX3 in duckblind camo as well and should have that by the end of the week next week.Seasons off to a GREAT start already! :D
