I have a question. My friend just received his beautiful $150 original goose call. But on the bag it call in was a label made in China? What the heck is this? He was so pissed off because he's a Vietnam Vet and this product is possibly mad ein China? Call some body please help me with this if it's true? Thanks Chris @ nilbig@hotmail.com

That tag belongs on the pouch. The polyester pouch is made in china.

Ya bud the fabric is printed in China and sewn there I would imagine. The calls are 100% USA made.

I also noticed that. It made not buy a call for over a year. I use to think the call was made over there to.
I respect why he would not buy one. My hunting buddy will not buy one because the bag is made over in China his choice.
Thanks

This topic has me a little interested in manufacturing practices. I'm going to do a little research on camo fabric and find out how much (if any) is printed in the US. I doubt much, if any is.

Does Foiles sell just the pouch?
Made in China must be cheap.
If so how much?
Thanks

Tell your hunting buddy to buy the call and burn the pouch. I can attest that their calls are made here in the USA, just outside of Pittsfield Illinois in world famous Pike County. If you go to his store the shop is in back, I have personally been back in the shop and seen all the lathes for turning the calls and the benches where they shave the reads and tune the calls. The pouches, at least the one I have is made by Hatchie Bottom.

Sorry Max but I do not like to tell others what to do. I probaly suggested it. Some people are really into this made in the USA thing and are probalby right. Think how those same guy's running the machine would feel if they exported their jobs.
Heck I often wonder why my wife tries so hard to run my life. Isn't hard enough to run your own life not someone elses? I'd like to say that but do not have the guts to.
I do not want to offend you in anyway I just do not believe in forcing my views on others. Heck he can run his own life and do what he wants.
I want to buy some more pouches.
I got the idea here on this site about leaving calls on the lanyard and putting the pouches on the call on the lanyard so that is what I am going to do.
I have got dirt, corn stalks and other items in my calls before and now with the new idea from here I am going to have Zink calls in a foiles case.
Thanks for your help.

No offense takin, when i say tellyour friend it should have read make the suggestion. I try to buy American most the time, but it is hard to do some times, and I have a bad addiction to Italian Made Shotguns  . Putting Zink Calls in a Foiles Pouch seems like a crime. I thought Fred supplied a pouch with his Acryllic calls. His pollycarb calls I believe are molded in china and then shipped here for assembly.
Good luck with the rest of your season.

He does have a pouch for his calls but they are shijjty. The calls barely fit in them and the draw sting does not work that well. The velcro Foiles are teh ticket for ease of use.
I do not own a Zink polycarb only acrylic and wood.
3 SR-1 and on PC-1
Are alot of people here like Zink only or Foiles only kinda like the truck chevy vs ford thing?
I own the following Foiles calls
HPH, SMH, MH, and a SMM duck call
I want to own every good call made.
I have one poly call a Tim Grounds super magnum. I have not seen it in acrylic or I probably would have bought it.
Is that a good call?
Thanks

I used to use a lot of Tim's calls, I just like my Foiles Stuff Better. I only used his Flute calls, I.E. The variavble tone honker, and guides best, Also had a few of his customized P.S. Olt A-50's. I myself prefer the Foiles stuff now, and am usually "brand" loyal if it works, and in this case they not only work, they also sound the best. :) Oh, and I drive Dodge
