I have been wanting to build my own goose call. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the subject or any suggestions, anything that might help?
Thanks

Yes Greg Keats makes a book that has companies to buy pre drilled call blanks and it also has kits that come with the guts and are pre drilled.
I would suggest if you have never made a call to buy one of his kits so that no matter what when your done you have a functional call. You can find call blanks on ebay but most are not predrilled. I have made a few calls and the biggest screw up is the drilling of the hole. The only down fall is the kits from Keats are 75$. Also I would not start out using acrylic because it is expensive and you will screw up from time to time. You also can buy one of his mandrels for 30$ which is a good deal.
Also I would buy the book by Greg Keats because it walks you through how to make them step by step. I hope this help a little.
You can find the book and materials at gregkeats.com
