I shoot a Browning BPS with a 3" chamber for everything. Before that I shot a Mossberg 835. I like the BPS alot better than the Mossberg and plan on getting a BPS 10 ga. in the near future. The big thing I like about the BPS is that it is ambidexterous (hope I spelled that right) and I am a lefty. There is not a whole lot of left-handed guns available for a reasonable price.

I shot a Rem. 870 for 12 years, good gun! Probably had close to 10,000 rounds thru it.

Browning BPS in a 12 and 10.
Remington 870 wingmaster in a 28 and a .410

And since you never classified I'll add in my Winchester .22's 1890, 1906, 1962.

SBE 1, first choice. Back up is a Nova. I bought 2 870s, and now they are a tiny fishing reef.

Still shooting a Nova. Can't find a reason to give it up.

I prefer pumps myself, I guess I am just old fashioned, love the reliability of them. I have owned and shot pretty much all the brands, Mossberg, Winchester, Remington.I currently shoot the Benelli Nova for my 12 gauge, and the Browning BPS for my 10gauge.I can't say a bad thing about either of these guns, both very reliable, and well constructed.

i own three 870's. one is cantilever and synthetic, that is my deer gun, no rifles except muzzleloader for us in DE,one is a wood combo Christmas present from my parents sentimental value more than anything else , and last but not least is my duck gun. an 870 synthetic w/ 28 inch barrel that has never given me problems at all. the only reason i am giving thought of replacing it is because it will only hold three inch shells. i shot a nova for the first time other dayandthat is the way im leaning, not that my 870 hasnt spent countless days left unclean or times forgotten behind the truck seat after long days in the marsh only to fire without question and carry out out my every command, but because my perticular gun will only hold 3inch shells and i feel i need 3.5. im just sayin. :)
