Do y'all know of any pro-staffers in Idaho by chance?????I know this state doesn't rank with some others, but we lay the smackdown here too!!

I'll have to check the list, Plein WAS up there years ago. The Utah gang might be the closest...might be something that needs to be addressed. I know the Idaho gang puts a major hurt on the geese.

I hope Utah isn't the only ones with close pro-staffers.....I really havent met anyone up here that uses short reeds, I know they make the hardcores right here in Boise, but other than them, I am just lookin for someone who can blow a short reed to practice with, I am just torn between a SMH or a Market Hunter....I am going to get it soon so I can use it halfway decent come next season

No, I wont be able to, I already have leave scheduled for May, and have training I am going TDY for, so time off is tricky right now. When I am TDY to Wichita Falls Tx I may rent a car and drive to the shop, who knows....its a long way off and in the end of Sept so none of y'all will be around anyways!!!!

Hey Corey, I know some guys up there who are pretty kick ass on a short reed. Many in your area. Let me see who I can contact. Hell Ogden isnt that far away if you want to make a trip down we can make some time to spend on getting your calling up to snuff.

Thats great I really appreciate it. If all goes as planned I am going to order my SMH on April first, which brings me to another question, With it being my first short reed should I get it tuned lighter, or leave it "factory" I really don't know with it being my first short-reed. I was thinkin lighter just for ease of learning????Y'all know way more than me so any input is appreciated!! :)

There are some guys in Burley that are real good on a short reed, and they also put the smack down on the Geese. Let me know if you are interested in their contact info.
