We have waited and waited here in Michigan for our cornfields to get cut down and they finally got them down 2 days ago. We saw a few hundred geese this morning and almost all gave our field a look but just wouldn't commit. Me and my good friend ended up shooting 1 shy of our limit (3 a piece). There have been more in the evening, so we are hoping to go out with one heck of a bang this evening for the final night of the Michigan early season. This is my first year hunting and using my Strait Meat Honker and the ones we did get to come in, I called right in our face, it just reaffirmed why I am addicted to such a great company........I hope to get some pics up when I return home, I don't have my camera cable with me now.......
