First Short reed tuning

Well I recieved permission from the secretary of war..I mean wife to order a SMH, so should I get it tuned light to begin with or just leave it factory tuned?????

LOL, Just explain to them when you orderit that you are new to the short reed, and are learning this type of call, and they will tune it perfectly for you. They have the nest customer service around, and will hook you up.

well there is no such thing as "Factory Tuned" as each one is hand tuned. However when you order it from the shop tell um' how you want it. They will even let you hear it before they ship it.
