I've always either shot Drylok or Kents, but Black Cloud is something special.

My vote for Kent's 3.5" # 2's across the board.

I like HEVI-SHOT "DEAD COYOTE" 12Gauge 3inch 1 1/2 oz shot "T" shot

all it takes is one pellet. :D

I have used both 3" BB winchester supremes and Federal Premium Ultra shock 3" BB. I personally liked the federal loads better, it seemed to knock em harder, the winchester loads are awesome for the price. I really like the BB also, it seems like you can do alot more damage.

Any of the "new" non-toxics are miles ahead of steel, fast steel, hevi steel stuff.
Hevi Shot, Wingmaster, Extended Range and Federal Ultra Shok. All of them so much better it isn't a comparison. I shoot 3.5 inch Hevi Shot 6's and sometimes 4's for geese. Kills em stone dead. So if you are asking what is the best goose load I'd say one of these.
If you are asking which is the best out of those 4 I can't help....I haven't shot steel in more than 6 years now.

I personally like Winchester Supreme's 3 1/2 BB...

we kill our geese close but I like them DEAD...and if I have the need to reach out and touch one...it can be done....my partner uses BB early season then T shot the rest of the way.....I used to question his choice and thought it was overkill....still do most of the time...

however...I cannot argue with his success........3 1/2 T shot KILL'S 'EM stone dead...he regurlary triples on geese and their are NO cripples....

i like whatever i can afford at that time. being a college kid with an obsession of goose hunting isnt the easiest on the checkbook. but if i have a choice it would have to be winchester dryloks 3" #2's my beretta hammers them just fine at about 35 yards if i have to.

winchester supreme in #2's or bb's

Factory would be Kent 1550 #1's and then BB, but my RSI-75 load in #1 is the best goose killing load I have ever used inside 45 yd.

I've tried everything up there except the hevi shot and the winchester supremes have stood out above the rest in my opinion.

No need for me to run any 3 1/2",when 3" #2's get the job done very well.

I like fasteel, but since hevi-steel is a mixture of steel and other heavier non-toxic materials (tungsten or part hevi-shot?), you could get away with smaller pellets like B's over steel BB's and be throwing a denser pattern with just as much knockdown power......but hevi-steel is also more expensive. My uncle used to shoot alot of win. supremes and really liked them, but they're over priced if you ask me. He shoots fasteel and win. hi-v now. I mostly shoot Xpert Hi-Velocity.
