hunting in north carolina

i was wondering if anybody is in the jacksonville area and wouldnt mind helping me out a little bit i just got stationed on camp lejune and cant wait to hunt again if any one could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated

Go to Currituck, or the Pamlico Sound. I don't know where you're from, but lower your expecations. Not many birds, and loads of hunters. The coast can be good, but you're going to need to get to your spots early.

When i was ststioned there we used to hunt the Croatan National Forest, there are a couple big lakes in it, i would have to look at a map to get the names. We used to hunt the White Oak River too. It has been a very long time. I will pull some old maps out and try to refresh my memory. Brian
