What type of ducks have you been killing?

mostly teal so far. on opener our group of 7 got a total of 28 birds, 24 of them being teal, 8 green-wing and the rest blue. then we had 3 mallard hens, and a hen shoveler.

Damn near all tealskies so far.....that will change in about a week and a half though. Less bluewings and more big ducks showing up....widgeon, pintails, and some mallards seem to be showing up now.

This time of year it is usually teal, but the woodies are all over this year. i think we have 18 woodies so far this year, with mallards being a close second at 17. Mallards always seem to win out at the end of the year.

Opening morning we got a 5 man limit of all mallards. 23 drakes and 2 hens in the northeast part of SD.

Its all Ring necks for me. they are every where its crazy. still shooting my share of mallards too.

Lately we've been killing more redheads than usual. Its only going to be the 2nd weeknd of October and it feels like November to me.

Mostly mallards and Green Wings but Ive limited out on blue bills and Cans 4 times this year so far. Can't wait for the morning to pound the divers though

For my last youth hunt i got mostly mallards. One spec. Its going to be a great year.

Up here in MN got alot of ringbills and mallards. Started seeing redheads last week or so. Looking forward to the big canadian mallards coming down later!!!
