From what I hear you pretty much need a mud motor to hunt it.

The duck reports are good from there though.

We push pole. We rarly use a motor. And if we did it would be an outboard. My uncle has private land that we go off. Last year we went on Pehlings Bay, but this year we mostly go on South Bay. I havent seen a guy out there without a mud motor. I dont like mud motors very well. Theyre just not my thing. We see so many ducks its unbelievable. Around the 19th or so of Oct. is when alot of cans migrate down so that should be fun.

So is Swan the only place you hunted this year? Ever let anybody else come with?

I wasn't impressed with the lake at all only shot 7 kinda slow. Only had one small flock come in and a couple singles. It was about 2 weeks ago though.
