Congrats on the new call, I am sure you will have more than a honk down by the end of next week, the CD you bought will help you a ton, just leave it in the cd player in your truck and practice calling when driving. Oh you will get some strange looks, and perhapse pulled over by a cop thinking you are smoking something, but in the end it is a great place to practice.

I sure hope I learn quick, it is kind of a thing me harassing the wife w/the goose call, I chased her one day honkin the flute at her and she backhanded the flute and busted my lip :shock: She is a evil woman who abuses me......and I love her for it! Just because she lets me hunt anything whenever I want.....haha She likes to hunt to, and wants to field hunt geese next season....reason to buy the HPH!

hello.. i am a pretty new caller and am coming along pretty good. heres a little somthin that may help you... put your right hand at the end of the insert.. and make a fist. ( dont close down all the way, make sure there a small hole where air can get through. NEXT take you left hand and cup it behind your right... then say WHOOO ( in your deepest gruntiest voice ) then WHITT... keep trying that.. keeping your left hand cupped. Keep trying that.... eventually you will get a cluck and then you can.. then you can grow from there..hope this kind of helps.. good luck!
