Well got bored after class so I decided to repaint a decoy(one of many that need done). And here are the before and afters:

Paint was still a little wet when I took the pics so some of the areas are shinny. I think for my first paint job this isn't too shabby. I also think that they would look better if I had airbrushed them.

Are you gonna try and flock the head? Might as well since you are practicing on that one...Looks good!

Oh man was that deke in some rough shape! Thats quite the impressive paint job, well done!

Not a bad job at all. Take a step back to thirty yards and she'll look good. If they get closer than that; you've waited too long.

It took forever to do and some of the colors didn't seem like they were going to work. But after I detailed it a little more it started to come around. I may or may not flock it, the black is pretty flat and doesn't shine much. I think it probably will make it look better. I had a couple of things I wanted to do but need to use and air brush to do it. All in all it took about 4 hours, allowing drying time, to finish the decoy.

10 dollars and hour is a bit low make him pay 15. Anyways to goose looks real nice.
