haha your from GAYLORD!! j/k i use a Freestyle original series goose call, and a C&S custom for long range and a bois d'arc/acrylic timber rattle for in close.
I use a Timber Rattler Single Reed and Strait Suzie DR for ducks and a Strait Meat Honker/High Plains Honker for geese........
couple years ago I just used cheapo haydels duck calls and a buck garnder 12 dollar goose call........Seemed like before I got too technical with stuff that I killed more geese, but man, I wouldn't trade my foiles calls for ANYTHING! The birds I call in, typically are right in my face.....

Unfortunately I was brought up blowing a flute and cant quite grasp the concept of blowing my new showtime, so for geese I blow a meatcutter and ducks the strait meat mallard... soon to be a timber rattler as well.

Have you tried Calling Geese 2.0. I blow on occasion my meatcutter, but I have both in my arsenal for killing geese.

I got the 2.0 and still cant blow a short reed, I asked Jeff how he did it and he said he had a really hard time changin over so dont feel bad just keep practicin. He said one day youll wake up and just know what to do.
Don't feel bad, I blew an old Olt Flute, as well as a Faulks until December of 2006. It was a HARD transformation to say the least, I kept getting so frustrated and it was like one day I had an epiphany and just started blowing it like crazy.....It'll come to you all of a sudden.......Honker Sound I and II are real good tools to beat it in your head too :D

I have a Meatcutter and i love it. It has great tone and a decent crack since it is acrylic. I recomend it to anyone who is looking for a good flute.
