early end to a great season

Everyone see that the northern and central illinois quota is gonna be reached by wednesday for the central zone and thursday for the northern zone, there shutting our season down boys, its really gonna suck to that the season is ending real quick, specially with the central duck season ending on tuesday, but monday tuesday wednesday and thursday gonna hunt hard, hopefully get the best of em, and then the weekend after New Years gonna take a trip down south to shoot up on the ducks down there, gotta kill something, well just wanted to keep you illinois hunters updated, have a good last few days, and keep em posted on your hunts, later boys

Unfortunately I saw it coming, still sad to see, will be out for the last day, unfortunately cant get out before then , trying to make arrangements to get out tuesday afternoon. I will be headed south for as long as the season is open. Hearing rumors that they are predicting it to be filled by the 10th of January though. We will see. Good luck guys, maybe we will run into each other at a dock or blind drawing somewhere to the south.

ya its to bad were closing early been having great hunts every morring, gonna keep working on them til thursday, then leaving for tenn. friday afternoon for a week. :D keep at em till they make you quit.

no way the south will be closed jan 10. no geese here hardly at all. unless it snows 2 feet and the temp actually gets below 40 for a change from chicago to springfield i think we will run till the 31st. but we have filled our quota of north and central zone hunters so you guys should sleep in. just kidding. come on down and see nothing like the rest of us. but you gotta bring some geese with you!

I will be all over, mostly water though, as long as it is open, if not might be walkin on ice, It will all be public land. NOt sure as far as what lake or area when, will be following birds.

DUMan84 that does suck alot. Ive been hunting around Nauvoo Illinios and have had a few good duck and goose shoots in the last few days. But been crankin 'em in iowa across the river. I think all the geese will start feedin' in Illinios after the season closes and theyre exposed to pressure in Iowa.
