hey, i was just wondering where in illinois pittsfield is. if i dont have anything planned for memorial weekend i was thinking about driving down. i live in green bay, wi, so im guessing it would be kind of a far drive. also, do you think it would even be worth it for me to go. what kind of stuff will they have besides the calling comps? im a foiles junkie and am very interested in going.

thanks,
dave

Pittsfield is in West Central Illinois, in the famous Pike County. It is off of I-72 Between Jacksonville and Quincy. I know besides the contests, their are supposed to vendors from the industry as well as food and drink, plus the oppurtunity to meet alot of other hunters, and guys from this forum.

It's a good time with good people. The callin' contests are great to listen to and there is a wealth of knowledge around. Plus there's a band and a party sat. night that all will be attending!

come down 39 out of madison and get off on 55 south then itll run into interstate 72 west. im almost positive it has its own exit might be pittsfield/mt sterling. from what i hear it would be well worth your drive. :D
